AC Milan's Brazilian superstar Kaka has agreed a transfer deal with Real Madrid thought to be worth a world record £59m.The 27-year-old forward is training with Brazil for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Paraguay.
He had a medical on Monday to complete his move from the Italian club and then spoke to the media.
The Italian side confirmed the sale of Kaka to Real in an expected world-record transfer late on Monday night, before Madrid also announced the move on their own website.
Reports have suggested Kaka, who was also earlier linked with Chelsea, has signed for around 68million euros (£59million) - which, if true, would smash the world record fee of £46.7million paid by Real to Juventus for Zinedine Zidane in 2001.
The former Ballon d'Or winner is the first player to join Madrid after Florentino Perez took over as club president for a second time last week.
"Kaka is one of the players that every team would like to have and Madrid had the chance to get him," Mr Perez told a Spanish radio station.
Perez was influential in bringing the likes of Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Ronaldo and Luis Figo to Madrid during his first tenure as club president.
Manchester United fan said earliar kaka 59m pounds move to real is over.i hope ronaldo doesnt leave. he is our best player. it was good to see kaka saying that milan made him the player he is and i also hope ronaldo understands it as well.
