Shah Rukh Khan receive honorary doctorate award

Shah Rukh Khan sweetly call’s him as SRK, KING KHAN,hero, comedian or any other artist where he is very is best for his any kind of role, while he is also a film producer and television host and will receive an honorary doctorate in arts and culture from the University of Bedfordshire at the Hotel Courthouse, London on 10 July from Vice Chancellor Les bdon, CBE.

The actor was chosen for the doctorate by NGO Routes to Roots a member of the World Association of Non-Governmental Organization (WANGO) that works closely with universities and educational trusts in various countries, said a press release.

Shah Rukh Khan has won seven Filmfare Best Actor Awards for the films Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De India (2007), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) which remain some of Bollywood’s biggest hits.Films including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Veer Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) like these films making him as a sucessful actor.

According to Rakesh Gupta, who is also with the NGO: "Indian students at the university would love to have the youth icon Shah Rukh to be a fellow alumni once he receives his doctorate."
