South Banksy Show

Graffiti artist once hounded by police stages a guerrilla exhibition at city's posh art galleryAnarchic graffiti artist Banksy opens his biggest ever exhibition today.
Not sprayed on a building, or stencilled in an underpass, but within one of our most establishment institutions, the Bristol City Museum.

Banksy, famed for his controver-siasubject matter and the secrecy around his true identity, has "remixed" the museum's collection - with its directors' permission.

And I was invited along for an exclusive sneak preview.

Although he might protest the fact, Banksy is firmly entrenched in the London art world.

His graffiti art inspired paintings sell for hundreds of thousands of pounds to celebrities, art dealers and anyone else who can afford to buy them, and yet no one even knows what he looks like.

See for yourself what all the fuss is about at a Banksy art exhibition at Andipa Gallery, which is showing work from the gallery's own collection.
