Susan Boyle’s fledgling singing career hit another bump yesterday when she pulled out of two Britain’s Got Talent Live tour dates. The 48-year-old Scot was due on stage for a matinee and evening show at the Manchester MEN Arena but concert-goers arrived to find the venue adorned with notices announcing her withdrawal. 
A spokesperson for the church volunteer, who was admitted to a psychiatric hospital after coming second on the ITV talent show, said that after performances in Birmingham and Sheffield she had been advised to withdraw from the Manchester concerts.
