Actor James Caviezel involved in motorcycle accident

Actor James Caviezel was rushed to the hospital after being involved in a strange motorcycle accident in Leavenworth, Washington on Thursday. James was riding is Harley Davidson when an unidentified man, who reportedly suffers from mental issues, threw a bicycle into his path.

James Patrick Caviezel, is an American film actor, sometimes credited as Jim Caviezel. He is perhaps best known for playing the part of Jesus Christ in the 2004 film The Passion of the Christ as well as Edmond Dantès in The Count of Monte Cristo and Private Witt in The Thin Red Line.

Fortunately, ‘The Passion of Christ’ star was wearing helmet and only suffered cuts and bruises. A police spokesperson said the accident could have been a lot worse if James hadn’t been wearing protection.

In 2007, he and his wife adopted Bo, a baby Chinese boy with a brain tumor; the Caviezels have also adopted a second child with a brain tumor, a young girl, from the Guangzhou region of China.
