Artist Dash Snow’s death has been confirmed by grandmother Christophe de Menil. Dash Snow died of a drug overdose.Snow exhibited in galleries and museums such as The Royal Academy in London, the Whitney Museum of American Art's 2006 Biennial "Day For Night", Deitch Projects, Saatchi Gallery and Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery in New York.
The New York artist worked in video and photography and was featured in galleries from Los Angeles to Europe. Ms. de Menil tells press that Dash Snow had fought an addiction problem. 
In March 2009, Snow entered an unnamed rehab facility and had recently been clean, says the artist’s grandmother.He had a daughter, Secret Aliester Ramirez Messenger Santa Creeper, by Jade Berreau, a model, actress, and photographer, in 2007.(One source states the child's name is Secret Magic Nico.)
