Ben Roethlisberger Photos : Sex Assault In Lawsuit

WTAE in Pittsburgh is reporting that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault by an employee at Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas. The woman that has filed the charges is Andrea McNulty.


Harrah's casino employee Andrea McNulty filed the civil lawsuit last week in Washoe County, Nev., stemming from an alleged incident at a hotel room in July 2008.
Roethlisberger is not facing any criminal charges, and it's unclear if McNulty ever tried to file a criminal complaint before taking legal action against him.

The Steelers organization is backing their star quarterback and believes his version of the events. Roethlisberger’s attorney had these strong words about the charges from McNulty.

Roethlisberger faces one civil count of assault, one civil count of sexual assault and battery, one civil count of false imprisonment, one civil count of false pretenses, one civil count of fraud, and one civil count of intentonal infliction of emtional distress.

Benjamin Todd "Ben" Roethlisberger (born March 2, 1982, in Lima, Ohio), nicknamed Big Ben, is an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Steelers 11th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio).
