Late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s long-time friend has dismissed rumours that he is the biological father of Prince Michael II, also called “Blanket”.
Al Malnik, who also happens to be Blanket’s godfather, has denied that he served as a sperm donor for the child, who was delivered by an unknown surrogate.
"It would be very interesting to realise that I didn’t meet Blanket until he was two years old. So that wouldn’t qualify as a rippling event I think. Of course I’m not the biological father," the Daily Star quoted Malnik as saying.
The two elder children do bear some resemblance to their mother Debbie Rowe, who Jackson married in 1996.
Rowe, his second wife after Lisa Marie Presley, was a dermatologist's nurse.
When they divorced three years later she apparently gave the singer custody as "a gift".
Blanket was born to an unnamed surrogate mother. The paternity of all three children has been questioned in the past.
