Bryce Dallas Howard is joining Eclipse. Bryce Dallas Howard joins Eclipse instead of Twilight’s and New Moon’s Rachelle Lefevre.“Rachelle brought “Victoria” to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”
For Eclipse, Rachelle Lefevre will be leaving the role of Victoria for “scheduling conflicts” claims chatter bugs tonight.All involved are citing “scheduling conflicts” as the reason for Lefevre’s departure.
Howard has previously appeared in Terminator Salvation, Spider-Man 3, and The Village. Eclipse will hit movie theatres June next year. The film is directed by David Slade.
The 28-year old actress is the daughter of director/actor Ron Howard (Opie) and wife Cheryl.
It does seem extremely odd to replace an actress after the first two films. “Scheduling conflicts” is almost always the most convenient excuse in Hollywood.
