Electric vehicles are not environmental friendly

GAO report, there would be no reduction in carbon dioxide by switching over to electric vehicles. This is something that common sense should have told you. If a frickin' Thomas Edison style light bulb is dangerous according to the environment wackos in this country.

How could plugging a car into a socket be an improvement? As it is well documented now, the environmental movement debated in Congress isn't about carbon dioxide. That's just a mask. It's about raising your taxes by using the environment as the excuse.

According to Wikipedia, there are 250,851,833 registered motor vehicles in the United States. Let's say half of those cars are switched to electric cars.

First of all, green energy sources like wind which have failed to produce an adequate amount of electricity anywhere they have been tested, aren't going to produce enough energy to charge these things.

It is proven that EVs. will be more environment friendly than ICE vehicles, even if they are recharged from juices coming from dirty coal plants. Besides it is easier to control the pollution coming from those plants, than from hundreds of thousand tailpipes scattered all over town.
After all, at least two problems will be solved: urban air and noise pollution.
