Who is the new Bachelor for 2009 - Kiptyn Locke? Will Kiptyn Locke be the next Bachelor to follow Jason Mesnick? Kiptyn has not yet been chosen, if you believe Chris Harrison. In fact this week, Chris Harrison blogged on “Men Tell All” that your 2009 Bachelor hasn’t been decided. The big question - will The Bachelor come from the current crop, or be a new casting?
Kiptyn Locke had a fair share of fans going for him in The Bachelorette finale. However, the only opinion that mattered was the one of Bachelorette Jillian Harris. And that opinion was ultimately unfavorable, as Jillian picked Ed Swiderski as her reality husband.
Therefore, many feel that Kiptyn Locke will get to officially be name as The Bachelor when the original series returns to ABC next season. As such, it will be Locke who gets to choose between prospective suitors next time around.
By all accounts, it appears it should be Kiptyn, but potentially may not. Kiptyn has the charm and fits the bill but can he carry an entire season by himself? Is Kiptyn that entertaining? Many are putting their bets on Reid but yet again the flaw is that he may not ignite in a lead role when cameras give him that much tv air time.
