The 2009 NYC Half-Marathon started at 7AM and just after over an hour, winners for both men and women categories were declared.Sunday's NYC Half-Marathon brought previous winners and, as expected, the best runners prevailed.
Tadese Tola of Ethiopia and Paula Radcliffe of Great Britain won the NYC Half-Marathon in dominating fashion on Sunday, August 16. Among the men, Ridouane Harroufi of Morocco and Ryan Hall of the United States finished second and third, respectively.
On the women's side, Mamitu Daska of Ethiopia and 2008 champion Catherine Ndereba of Kenya were second and third. Stay tuned for complete coverage later today.
