Jessica Simpson Date with Colt Brennan : Tony Romo dumping Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson has been reportedly flirting with Washington Redskins quarterback Colt Brennan, which is not only a bit too fast but it seems like she just wants to get back at Tony Romo for dumping her.

Well... Tony never had a good time thanks to her. His performance with the Cowboys got worse and worse after the two began dating at the end of 2007.Things got really ugly for Tony and Jessica was taking the blame for his underperformance. Even former U.S. President George W. Bush endorsed the "Jessica Simpson jinx" after the Giants went on to win the Super Bowl in 2008.

“Colt sent Jessica tickets for his Sept. 13 game against the N.Y. Giants,” the source adds. “And on July 31, Colt FedEx’d her a Redskins jersey. If she wears that jersey to the game, you know it means she’s playing rough!”


We’re not sure Redskins fans will take the news light-heartedly; Jessica didn’t do any good to Tony, it would be surprising if the pattern would change now.

Maybe it’s time for Jessica to grow up and start behaving like an adult not a hurt teenager getting her stupid revenge. Rumors say the desperate singer also called her ex-husband, Nick Lachey, for a couple of drinks and was promptly put in her place as Nick told her “It’s best to leave things as they are.”
