Jon and Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin had to once again face the public. She was caught off guard by Regis Philbin when he interviewed her for his morning show.
Regis asked if Kate had considered reconciling with her husband Jon Gosselin, Kate answered, “I can’t and won’t answer that. I keep certain things private, and that’s one.”
The host gave his own opinion about the subject, saying “I think you [and your husband] will get back together and live happily ever after. I think everything is going to work itself out — he’ll say he’s sorry, that he loves you and everything will be good.”
A shocked Kate Gosselin couldn't respond, kept her mouth shut and the show went on a commercial break. When Live with Regis and Kelly returned, she said she did hope to get past any animosity with Jon. She didn't, however, discuss getting back together.
Even during the break, she appeared to be on the verge of tears.
