Joan Rivers’ daughter Melissa Rivers came out to support/defend her mother against the awful, cruel plastic surgery jokes (we all know Joan is addicted to some nip/tuck!) in the new show “Comedy Central Roast Of Joan Rivers” that aired on Comedy Central on Sunday (August 9). Daughter Melissa also looks like she got under the knife recently.Melissa appeared on the NBC reality television program Celebrity Apprentice playing for the Lili Claire Foundation. She was fired in the episode that aired April 26, 2009, after which she stormed out of the boardroom.
Melissa, who is working in a new book titled “Life Lessons From the Red Carpet,” claims her mom can handle whatever filthy insults she was the target of. It seems like the subject of some of the cruelest jokes was Joan Rivers’ age.
