So You Think You Can Dance season six’s Top 20 finalists were announced on Wednesday (October 21) and we will have a chance to get to know them better in a special episode to air on Monday (October 26).
So let’s get straight to it and see who got through to the top 20 list and will be entering the public voting stage next week, to compete for the title of America’s favorite dancer. And according to buddytv.com, the first to make it was Nathan Trasoras.
The show host is Cat Deeley and the judges are Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, Adam Shankman (who will be starting as a permanent judge on the panel next week), Debbie Allen, Tyce Diorio and Mia Michaels (who recently announced she’s leaving the show).
The next to go through was contemporary dancer Kathryn McCormick, along with Channing Cooke, who is also a contemporary dancer. Next to get into the top 20 were jazz dancer Ellenore Scott, Arianna DeBose and krump dancer Russell Ferguson.
More dancers to go through to the top 20 included Billy Bell, tap dancer Bianca Revels, Victor Smalley, hip hop dancer Kevin Hunt, Phillip Attmore, tap dancer Pater Sabasino, jazz dancer Pauline Mata and contemporary dancer Jakob Karr.
