Fame Kills Tour Cancelled. This surprised those who have bought tickets. They just knew it on Twitter that Lady Gaga and Kanye West's Fame Kills tour is cancelled. The concert promotion company for Fame Kills tour, Live Nation, gave a brief message on Twitter about the cancellation with explanation on how to get refunds for the tickets bought.
There is no explanation on why the tour is canceled. But rumors has it that Lady Gaga is opting out of the tour because she doesn't want to be get caught in the backlash that Kanye West is getting as a result of the thing that he did at the MTV MVA 2009. Good move Lady Gaga.
The tour was scheduled to kick off in Arizona in November, with a gig scheduled at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J. on Dec. 22. The intensive itinerary was set to end in Dallas on January 24.
Given West’s admittedly much-needed break from work, the original announcement of the tour surprised many.
Gaga, of course, also had a big night at the VMAs: she wowed the crowd with her trademark over the top outfits and a wild performance of “Paparazzi,” and took home a Best New Artist award.
