Gagandeep Singh played for india domestic matches and also he was one of the player played in 2009 IPL cricket matches,An under-19 cricketer, Gagandeep Singh, was shot dead in a Meerut hotel on Friday night by an unidentified gunman.Police said, the incident occurred around 11:30 pm last night when Gagandeep Singh along with his friend was standing outside a shop selling kebabs here.
Police said a man got out of the car and demanded that he be served kebabs. When the shopkeeper Shahnawaz asked him to wait, he started abusing him. Another man whose face was covered then came out of the same car and started firing in which 18 year old Gagandeep Singh and the shopkeeper were killed.
Gagandeep Singh was a under-19 cricket player. Also he had been in the meer for the CK Naidu Cricket Tournament. He had also played for IPL Team of Kings XI Punjab.
