Britney Spears’ Twitter account was hacked and two nasty messages were left up for fans to see.Unless Britney Spears secretly worships satan, it looks like her Twitter account (@BritneySpears) has been hijacked by hackers with hijinks in mind.
Britney Spears’ verified Twitter account was hacked only an hour ago, and two malicious tweets were sent out for her over 3,750,000 fans to see. Her account has since removed the avatar, background, and those messages deleted.
At the time of publishing, Spears’ account had a blank wallpaper and had been stripped back to a default avatar.

This is not the first time her account has been compromised. As one of the world’s most recognized celebs (and a top 10 Twitter user), she’s always going to be a target, which means it’s even more imperative for the people that manage Spears’ account to work with Twitter to improve her account’s security.
