Google's New Search Sidebar : Chrome OS going to eliminate Microsoft ?!?!

According to Google’s vice president of search product and user experience Marissa Meyer, Google is looking to streamline its search experience. Google is testing an overhauled interface for its main product, Google Search.

The new interface, that’ll soon become available to a small portion of users, will contain a sidebar on the left side, somewhat similar to the one you get when you clicked on “Show options” after conducting a search, but far more polished.


Four months ago, Google announced it was working on an operating system for netbooks called Chrome OS. Today, at a press event at the Googleplex which I attended, the company demonstrated it in public for the first time and provided more details about its plans.

Google stole the tech and media spotlight today as it revealed a mountain of new details about Chrome OS, the company’s new operating system due in late 2010. It is a completely different type of OS that eliminates the desktop and focuses on getting you on the web quickly and efficiently.

The 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show hosted by Angel Heidi Klum, who looked absolutely fantastic even though she just had a baby a little over a month ago, took place at the Armony in New York City on Thursday.With Heidi Klum acting as host, the latest sexy looks were on display as the world famous Victoria’s Secret Angels strutted their stuff on the runway while the audience looked on in awe.

This is probably the biggest, most exciting and colorful event of the year. Super hot models strutting down the runway in sexy lingerie included: Heidi Klum herself, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ana Beatriz Barros, Izabel Goulart, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel and Chanel Iman.

Stefanie Spielman Death died of breast cancer

News of the death of Buffalo Bills Chris Spielman’s wife Stefanie Spielman. Stefanie Spielman has died of breast cancer at age 42.Stefanie had been diagnosed with breast cancer about 12 years ago when she was 30 years old and three months pregnant.

Chris Spielman issued a statement tonight to WBNS radio “Stefanie has gone home to be with the Lord,” “For that, we celebrate, but with broken hearts. I want to thank everyone for their support over the last 12 years. Together, with your help, hopefully we made a difference in this fight.”

She launched the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at Ohio State. The Fund raised more than $6 million. In 2002 she was inducted into the Ohio Women’s Hall of Fame.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Stefanie Spielman will be greatly missed.

Obama told a room full of Chinese university students at a town hall here on Monday, Speaking to a group of Chinese students in Shanghai, US President Barack Obama said he’d never used Twitter because he’s too clumsy to type on the phone.

The question he was asked, however, was far more important than his typing skills. Britney Spears’ verified Twitter account was hacked only an hour ago, and two malicious tweets were sent out for her over 3,750,000 fans to see. Her account has since removed the avatar, background, and those messages deleted.

At the time of publishing, Spears’ account had a blank wallpaper and had been stripped back to a default avatar.
