If you’re old enough, you might remember her as ‘Bo the Party Animal’ back in the 80s on Power 96, or more recently for her charismatic personality during several TV show appearances.
Her career as a TV personality blossomed after she left South Florida. Griffin also designed women’s apparel and owned Goddess Boutique.
The Greenville, South Carolina native is survived by several family members, including her father, The Reverend David L. Hellams, her two sisters Polly Peterson and Cindy Griffin, and her fiancé.
Griffin’s doctor hospitalized Griffin and diagnosed her with cancer after she complained of a pain in her back. She had been hospitalized for three weeks when she died.She was 51-years-old.
